Volunteering

Volunteers play a vital role in every aspect of the Young At Heart. While we are grateful for the many volunteers of all ages who already participate in our programs and activities, we are always in need of more helping hands to accomplish everything we hope to do. There are a variety of ways volunteers contribute at Young At Heart, including: - Greeting visitors - Assisting with special events, such as holiday parties - Leading support groups - Providing clerical assistance - Serving meals at our senior dining site - Offering companionship to peers - Helping with landscaping and grounds maintenance - Sharing additional skills and interests in diverse roles We also welcome the involvement of working professionals, who support our staff in areas such as business management, marketing, development, and event planning, as well as serving on boards, committees, and advisory groups. Groups from corporations, civic organizations, and other entities are encouraged to volunteer as well. To make the most of group volunteering, advance planning is appreciated. We invite you to join our community of volunteers and make a difference at Young At Heart Center.
